The pumps from Hidrostal allow almost clog-free operation for a wide range of applications and also excel under demanding conditions. The efficacy of the Hidrostal pumps is significantly higher than those of comparable products.

The discharge head characteristic curves are steep with a flat power curve and make it possible to adapter pump operation to the individual conveying task in a cost-effective manner - particularly in speed-controlled operation.

The specialists from Hidrostal can offer the optimal product from a range of 500 standard versions. If none of them fit the application, Hidrostal can develop specific solutions in close coordination and cooperation with the customer.

The Hidrostal screw impeller pump can effectively handle sludge, fluids containing solids, rags, wipes and fibrous materials at a high efficiency rating without clogging the impeller. Based on the frame size, we can tell the owner what the maximum sized solid that pump can pass without clogging the impeller.

The Hidrostal pump is available with immersible or submersible motors, dry pit, and diesel driven or in a Pre-rotation basin. The Hidrostal Pump has 100 hydraulic models, is available from 2” through 28” pipe sizes, up to 240 Ft (TDH) and 900 HP in materials and speeds appropriate for any sludge or wastewater application. The Prerostal® basin with a Hidrostal immersible pump motor matches station outflow to pump inflow using a fixed speed motor. The self-cleaning basin automatically removes floating and settling solids in a wet pit as well as drains it completely.

The Original Solution for Tank Mixing Systems

HidroMix pump mixing system for sludge tanks and digesters, provides a more efficient, safe and economical is a practical alternative to conventional submersible and gas mixers.

The key objective with any form of sludge storage is to avoid the build-up and settlement of any wastewater solids within the tank. Our system, which can be used for primary and secondary digesters, sludge storage tanks, balancing tanks and for sludge or tanker transfer, uses the Hidrostal screw centrifugal pump to draw sludge from the source and return it through a nozzle sized and positioned to provide optimum mixing energy and circulation of the tank contents.

The system is sized and positioned to achieve optimum results for the input of mixing energy and circulation of the tank contents.

Every Hidrostal mixing installation is a bespoke design that takes into account the sludge characteristics and the geometry of the tank.

Unlike other mixing systems, the Hidrostal concept does not require any structural steelwork within the tank. With the pump inlet and outlet pipes mounted on the walls, there are no obstructions to collect rags or encourage the settlement of sand and grit on the floor.

Suction points are positioned to draw sludge from dead areas and discharge points are positioned to promote the most effective circulation. For large tanks, we can offer two-pump systems, where there is the opportunity to have the nozzles at differing heights and discharge angles. These provide a far more effective mixing system than a single submersible mixer that might simply churn a relatively small volume of sludge whilst leaving large zones of the tank undisturbed.
